3. A Treasured Time
I started this Dimensions Gold kit in October 2016 and would really like to have it finished and framed before Christmas. I love this scene, especially as we have Christmas in summer in New Zealand.
Here's where I'm up to:
4. Peacock at Sunset
I'm more than 50 % done on the Ehrman tapestry, so I plan to finish it in 2017.
5. Twelve Days Ornaments
This is a gorgeous range of wool felt Christmas ornaments designed by Larissa Holland.
I stumbled across them on Instagram (@mmmcrafts) but you can also see them on Larissa's blog here. I've already made a tiny start, just to try out the method and test my Sulky Solvi. Now I need to decide what colour felt I'm going to use. I can see this taking up a lot of time as I keep adding extra touches.
So that's it! Five main things to work on this year. Plus my quilts of course (which you can see here).

Some amazing embroidery techniques you will be learning. I like the look of Holey Moley. Choosing felt and thread combinations for those Christmas decorations takes a lot of time - sometimes I replace the french knots with tiny seed beads on some of the decorations.
Some lovely projects you have planned. I look forward to seeing them evolve!
good selection of projects here the first one looks especially beautiful
You have a good variety of work on your list. And it's never boring learning new techniques. I look forward to seeing you share your progress here.

Oh you have some gorgeous projects planned - I love the colours in the Christmas decorations - I shall have to check them out for myself :)
That you just jump in and tackle the linen/cut lace/whatever style embroidery in those first two projects is amazing. I'd be absolutely certain of cutting the wrong thread or too many threads or whatever. They are so gorgeous. But I am really completely enamored of the felt Christmas ornaments. I may have to try those myself. I do have a question about your cross stitching style. Do you do an entire area in the half cross stitch, intending to go back later and complete the stitches? Is this easier to manage? When I've done cross stitch, I generally don't do half cross stitches over more than a row of the color I'm working before I go back, crossing them. I've wondered whether these various methods of getting the job done really matter in terms of the aappearance of the front. Sometimes I think they do; other time I think not. Opinions? Also, I'm certain you will work in another piece of your gingerbread village should one become available! You can probably knock that out in a weekend some time. <3 <3 <3
The first two look beautiful. You get a nice selection of classes where you live.
Wow, what lovely projects! Looking forward to seeing your progress, especially on the first 2
My embroidery has been neglected in favour of knitting since I started at the shop. :(
And I am failing my to-do list miserably.
