I think I'm going to call my tree quilt "Pine Hill" because that's where I grew up in Dunedin. I went to Pine Hill Playcentre, and Pine Hill School. And the trees on my tree quilt look like pine trees to me.
It's really hard to get a good photo of this quilt. The trees are quite bright in real life, but the whole quilt looks dull whenever I photograph it. I don't know why that is.
The brightness of the back makes up for any dullness on the front. I used a large piece of Kaffe Fassett Diamond Stripe on the back, and inserted some fussy cut Kaffe Fassett Damask Flower to make it big enough.
I'm going to give this quilt to my son and try and get him to part with this quilt so I can bring it home to wash it:

Your tree quilt is wonderful! Some quilts just don't photograph well for some reason. The quilt you're going to wash for your son looks like a fun project, happy stitching!
Grubby boys .. I hear you! Love the pine trees. It doesn’t look dull to me.
Pine Hill is so lovely . Love the different sizes of the trees. Thank you for hosting the link party. Have a great weekend.
You are so right to name your quilt Pine Hill. Very appropriate for such a beauty. I think the backing is smashing as well. Have a wonderful weekend.
Cute trees, but that HST quilt is gorgeous!! Tucking away the idea of using an inner border sequence, genius!
A beautiful finish with Pine Hill and the back has one of my favourite designs - Diamond Stripe - but the addition of the vertical and horizontal strips really make it special.
Picnic Quilt using all those scrap triangles is another beauty, I like the first double border drawing the eye directly to the centre portion.
