Joy to the World

This week I've been working on another Christmas tree decoration designed by Liz Matthews.

It doesn't look very exciting in this photo, but I'm stitching it on white sparkly 32 count evenweave and I'm really pleased with it.

I think it will look nice next to my first tree that I stitched back in January.  You can read about that one here.

Next Friday I'll be in Christchurch at my work conference.  I'm really looking forward to regaining some work life balance after the conference.  There's been too much work lately and not enough quilting! I have big plans for the rest of 2022.

My daphne plant that smells gorgeous right now

Now it's time for the Peacock Party.  Feel free to link up a recent blog post below.

This will be a very pretty ornament! Just curious, do you have your last gingerbread house finished? I always enjoying seeing them at Christmas time. Happy stitching!

Your cross stitch is amazing, so festive! I can't do that anymore.

I'm pretty sure you're the "most into Christmas decorations" person I know! I can't imagine what your home must look like by December. I suppose that's more remarkable due to the fact that I no longer decorate for Christmas. Without family nearby, and no visitors, it's not worth the time it takes to put stuff out. Guess I'd rather be making than decorating. :-) Come December, for sure you'll have to give us a whole house tour. A video would be nice. Hope you find some more stitching time when your conference is over... you NEED it. Ha, ha! :-)

Wow it is an exciting ornament but sounds like even more beautiful in person with the white sparkliness! I haven't taken up cross stitch but think I will one of these days. Nice and portable hobby.
