This week I've been working on my Tea Party quilt. How I wish I had coffee cups like this at my house!
and shiny tea cups like this too.
I think they work well with my tea pot.
I've added the finishing touches to some of the other blocks too. There are 8 of these plainer blocks, and I've finished 3 of them.
It's true, I do love fiddling about with fabric and threads. Cutting and sewing these circles on made me happy this week.
Now it's time for the Peacock Party. What have you been up to this week? Feel free to link up a recent blog post below.

You could probably have the cups printed up with those designs. They'd certainly brighten that morning cup of coffee!
What a happy tea party going on in your quilting studio. Your posts always make me smile. Your blocks are looking awesome, Wendy. Happy quilting and thank you for hosting the quilt party.
Lovely post, wonderful cups and tea pot..
What a lovely tea service you're making Wendy! I wish mine were so colourful!
Such eye-grabbing, graphic prints! And you're adding flowers to those cups?! Will they be visible with everything that's going on in the background? Are you hand appliquéing those circles on the setting blocks? They look SO perfect? What tool are you using to make the circles? I'm just curious, as there are many ways to tackle circle-making. It's apparent you're having fun with this project, so keep doing so!
Your blocks are all looking great.....
Wow, your blocks looks absolutely amazing! I'd not seen this pattern before and really love it. Looking forward to seeing your quilt.
The Tea Party pattern is just so vibrant! You are going to have another winner! Hugs
