For me, I began sewing clothes when I was 13 years old, and then fell into all the rest as I went along - macramé, needlepoint, crewel embroidery, knitting, crocheting, tatting, tole painting, counted cross-stitch, smocking, quiltmaking, and so on. It's really wonderful to have that creative urge, and whether it's focused on quiltmaking or something else, it's worthy of praise! I'm glad for you to be so multi-talented. Your pieces are gorgeous, and you can be very proud of yourself! Yay for Wendy! Most of your projects are made with hand work. Hand work just takes longer but is so satisfying! Quilting isn't a race to see who can make the most projects in a year, even though a lot of quilters seem to think that way. Quilting is a hobby to fulfill our creativity. I enjoy reading about all your projects. Don't feel guilty that you didn't complete a lot of projects. What you have completed are all beautiful treasures. I'm looking forward to seeing progress on Ballet with Kaffe in 2020!
